Make sure you have the right equipment before you bring your puppy home. You can buy most things from a good pet store or your local vet.

Here’s what you’ll need to look after your puppy:
Bed
Crate
Food and Water Bowls
Brushes
Collar
Leash
ID Tag
Toys

You can get all of those requirement on shopwiki
You will also need to puppy proof your house and yard to make them safe for your new pet.

1. Bed

Puppies need lots of rest, so it’s important to give them a bed that’s warm, dry, comfortable and easy washable.
- A molded plastic dog bed is easy to clean and lasts long time
- A woven wicker dog basket looks nice but isn’t as easy to clean. Also, your puppy might want to chew it
- Buy a washable mattress that fits snugly in your dog’s bed
- Round, oval, or rectangular bean bags filled with light weight foam beads make soft, comfortable beds. Buy one with a zip cover that can be removed for washing. If necessary, the whole bag can be washed in the machine and hung on a clothesline to dry.

Peaceful Pup will sleep anywhere, but she especially like comfy beds with white bedspreads just the thing after a muddy walk !

Small Tip :
Bean-bag beds are ideal for dogs that get cold, because the beds help to keep in body heat.

Next weeks topic : Crate
